As subjective as it is it is still ugly as hell and I won't change that statement!

There is nothing wrong with discussing the plus and minus of each without people getting all insulting and vindictive.

Definitely. RPF1s look better on gen 1. And I love RPF1s. That's a little annoying LOL. And the steering feel. Ugh. The steering feel just seems like it weighed up more nicely and was a little heavier on my '13 also. That's also a little annoying. Cheers man

Gen1 is OK right now, but the second I turn it in for my Gen2 (hopefully early March), it will be one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen - particularly that weird British racing green one - yuck!

Not nearly as bad as the horrible orange one I used to have.

Everything aside, having a paid off car is the greatest reason to stick with Gen 1. Learn from me I have an 04 WRX wagon that is 18.5 years olds. I have not had a payment for 14 years. That is more than half of some of your lives. The car is reliable as hell and still rocks. No payment on the BRZ for 2 years. I mean these cars are practically paying me. I have a blast driving them and every month money goes in my fund for my next project.

I have friends who say but you have two cars, doesn’t that cost a lot. I say how many cars have you owned/leased since May 23rd, 2003. The number is usually 3-4 cars, I got them all beat even with insurance and maintenance.

The third weekend car is coming once the used car market cools off. Just got to decide which one. (No it will not be a Gen2, unless my Gen 1 is stolen or totaled god forbid, then I would get the Gen 2 for sure)

don't forget, we couldn't afford a 2nd gen even if we wanted.

My Reasoning to keep the Gen 1 is. It`s so cheap to run at the track and use as a daily with the "obvious mods".
Plus it`s fast on the track, not a Kia Stinger at the lights but smacks them at the track and as I said "cheap" So it doesn`t crap itself too easy.
Gen2 may be way better???

We get it. The car is too long. You've said it enough times.

I think the issue with people happy with the Gen 2 is that they don't have a 2013 FRS, the only version with the good suspension.
