WTS: 2016 BRZ - STX Full Prep - Hyperblue

2016 BRZ - Hyperblue – VIN: JF1ZCAC1XG9600304 (#304 of 500)
80k Miles
Full STX AutoX Prep – with extras - $27k
Located in Oklahoma City, open to options on moving the car to sale location

Looking to part with my STX prep’d BRZ. Absolutely no mechanical issues at all. Car carried me to 5th in STX at Lincoln Spring Nats, and I’m not that great. Coilovers are bare bones, but are autocross valved and are a good start for seeing what you like/don’t like in a suspension. (IE – it's fast, but it may not be 100% to your liking). The only things left are Coilover/Sways/Differential that are to your specific liking, but what is on there now is pretty standard for a full STX prep Twin.

The car had been well loved by the previous owner and I. All maintenance records are present, and my log book covers the items done at home.

Looking to sell the whole kit at the moment in order to avoid having to move it all separately. Asking prices reflect a discounted full kit purchase, but I can tailor to fit (Only 1 set of wheels, other parts). Don't know if what I'm asking for this is Crazy or not, but the sum total of the parts is much greater than what I'm asking and its a well sorted out build for the platform. This is a very clean car with a rare coloration, so I'm just shooting myself in the foot if I price it as a regular 2016.

If you have questions or want more pics, just let me know.

Notes:
NVH
  • Some higher NVH that usual due to Poly drivetrain bushings (Engine, Trans, and Diff). Once warmed up, they quite down.
  • Poly Suspension bushings contribute to some increased road noise, but is not annoyingly lout to my ear (Subjective, but have taken multiple 4+ hour trips without feeling the need to take a break form the car)
  • CSG-Spec exhaust has a pleasant tone is not loud/has no drone. (sub 90db from outside the car and is pleasant inside the car)

Steering Feel
  • Due to poly suspension bushings and steering rack bushings, the cars steering feel is very direct and quick to react. Take note of this when on highways, especially at higher camber.

Paint/Body condition:
  • Front Bumper: AutoX car, so it has cone marks on the front bumper and a number of rock chips
  • Only 2 small dents of note:
o Passenger front fender from a tool drop.
o Passenger door below mirror from door ding (previous owner)
  • Only 2 scratches of note:
o On the rear bumper guard from loading/unloading AutoX box (should be able to buff out).
o On the right side of the license plate on the trunk (previous owner)
  • Paint other wise in great condition with only minor surface imperfections and a handful of pock marks on the hood

Mileage breakdown/Engine Health:
  • Of the 80k miles on the car, 65k + where dedicated highway miles. The rest is some City driving and AutoX
  • No over-revs/ aggressive driving outside of AutoX.
  • No Oil consumption whatsoever
  • Essentially babied outside of autoX

Extra’s aside from the parts listed below:
  • Only 1 keyset (new battery, previous owner lost a set)
  • All suspension hardware has been replaced and witness-marked
  • Fuel pump replaced at 79k (recommended maintenance)
  • Front Mud Guards replaced this past spring
  • Front fog light bezel replaced with JDM version (DRL bar and USDM bezel kept and can be put back in)
  • Car capable of -4.5°F/-3.5°R camber (Currently set at -4.3°F/-2.3°R in race config)
  • All Calipers rebuilt using OEM kits (had a rear caliper stick after a brake flush, rebuilt all calipers as preventative maintenance and because I had nothing to do that weekend)
  • Original Control Arms, Suspension, Parts taken off for mods, original header all included (and others) (New Arms where bought for easier Poly Bushing)
  • Other quality of life parts I forget about

Fluids: Enough for a full change of all below fluids is included.
  • Engine oil (Mutol 8100 ECO-LITE 0W-20) changed at 80k miles
  • Trans (Motul Gear 300) and Diff (Motul Gear 300LS) Fluid changed at 76.3k
  • Brake and Clutch Fluid (Motul RBF 600) flushed in the Spring of 2021
