Happy to say the last two additions to the registry weren't from California

U.S. Availability for the BRZ tS:

WRB: 134 total (incl. 6 In-transit)
CBS: 56 total (incl. 5 In-transit)
WHC: 98 total (incl. 8 In-transit)

Total Availability is 288 out of the est. 500 built.

Numbers are actually pretty low when looked at by region & color. For example there are only 21 white ones left in the Central US (Compared to 29 in the East Coast and 40 in the West Coast)

Production run:
WRB: 45%, 43% of total sales, 40% of production run sold.
Crystal White: 34%, 34% of total sales, 42% of production run sold.
Crystal Black: 21%, 23% of total sales, 46% of production run sold.

Right now it seems that Blue is just a tiny bit behind estimates and Black is a bit above. I wonder if it has to do with the concentration of black tS's towards the beginning of the production run?
Also, according to these figures, there should be way more Crystal Black tS's in the owners registry, haha.

Does this mean we're close to a VIN master list?

I’m glad you asked and I’m excited to start it haha. Once there are no more cars in-transit i’ll start it.

I’m going to make this list with more detail and accuracy then I’ve previously done. Doesn’t mean that the other lists are inaccurate but for the tS I will actually have a separate master list that can be viewed which will have other VINs besides tS’s, so for example if VIN 0405 is a tS but 0406 is a BRZ Premium and 0407 is a tS then it proves why that VIN was skipped. Hopefully with this more guaranteed list, we’ll be able to make some kind of custom badging of our own.

So, the one on FT86club will just be the 1-500 or so VINs and I’ll have a separate link mostly likely a GoogleDoc that will have around 1,000 other VINs.

1) Kine
2) 0511
3) WRB
4) Hawaii
5) Had a 2015 BRZ Limited in WRB but lost it to a flash flood a month ago. Flirted with a few other options as replacements but nothing looked as good as a BRZ so I went back to my original choice of getting a BRZ. Just so happened that this all coincided with the release of the tS model. Love the way the tS looks in person and it's great value for everything that you get. Love the exclusivity as well, only 3 others on the island I believe (was told Hawaii got 7 total with 3 of them split among the neighbor islands). Handling and braking are significantly better than my previous 2015. The responsiveness feels like I'm tracking a Lotus Elise but with a whole lot more daily driveability. Good to be back in a BRZ again

New tS owner

This is not my first BRZ, but I plan on keeping this one.

Mike
CWP
SN#475 (last 3 digits of my VIN anyway)
OKC OK

I'd love to say this car will remain stock, but I have had it less than 2 weeks and already have removed the sound tube. Removed the Clutch assist Spring. Hardwired a radar detector. Installed a JDM Armrest. Replaced the side marker lites with Smoked ones. Installed Hood Dampers. And, I will be doing a two-tone paint job on the OEM lip kit that I did on a previous BRZ. I will include a pic of my old car below to preview what I am doing next week.

And, parts on order:
ACE 350 Header
DT FF kit
CSG Touring Exhaust
CSG C1 brake pads
TWS T66 17 x 9 rims

....and I am sure there will be other changes made. Best part of the BRZ is the fact its a blank canvas that you can pretty much paint by colors and make it your own.

Pics, but not many:

I have my doubts. The tS seems like SoA's last ditch effort to push BRZ sales and it still has over 40% of it's inventory on dealer lots.

I almost hope we don't haha, I want my value to stay as high as possible.

The STI side skirts has too much "black" area making the car looks high (visually). I love the TRD side skirt way more.

The TRD one is factory painted and the color matches the car perfectly. The rear spat was painted by a local body shop and is more white than the body color ;(
