The intercooler in this system is the same as we use in our 350Z/G35 Systems, so you'll be good until close to 500HP before you need to upgrade the intercooler here.

Once we gain CARB approval on a system, we have CARB stickers that we will send to the owners of the complete systems that previously sent in their registration paperwork to us after purchasing the system. However, until that time which we receive the CARB approval and the E.O., the system will not be legal.

I'm really glad you answered a lot of questions. And although it may be early to ask, and there may not be any answer...

Upgraded compressor? How would one go about that. What if you buy a kit, but instantly want to go to a larger unit?

The only reason I ask, is because I'm at high elevation and 250whp at sea level isn't exactly quick at 5000ft. I would like to make around 275whp uncorrected. So a larger compressor is probably a must for me. What would you suggest?

Customers at elevation who have purchased our other systems for various vehicles over the years have posed the same question many times, so it is really no problem for it to be asked. Normally, the solution to a higher elevation is a smaller pulley and a custom tune, not a larger compressor. Our friends at Perrin or Visconti can help you achieve your goal.

Hey Brian can you give us an estimate of when the complete kit will come out? I am currently debating whether I should wait to get the complete kit or just go with a tuner kit.

We are shooting for the end of February for the official release on the complete systems. They can be pre-ordered now through any Vortech Dealer if you are OK to wait.

There are several larger compressors to choose from, and so many variables...it would be quite difficult indeed to say exactly. However, suffice it to say that whatever goals you have or will be attempting to reach, we have a compressor or an upgrade that will drop right in that can get you there. Your limitations will more than likely be supporting mods, fuel octane level, etc. Our focus when developing the tuning portion of a supercharging system is drivability and reliability. We leave the "push the limits" type testing to the performance shops and aftermarket tuners out there that thrive on that sort of thing.

Just noticed it is not in the kit layout shot we are using for promotion. I'll try to snap some pics of it soon for you.

I just did a google search for vortech supercharger upgrade

sounds like there will be upgrades according to their website on the V-3 product in addition to the older v1/v2:

http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...ction=services

" V-3 Si-Trim Upgrade - Includes high flow curved blade Si-Trim impeller (high speed precision balanced), Si-Trim compressor housing, new select fit impeller spacer and nut, all balancing and assembly labor."

Werd.

Even though it is photographed here separately, it does come with the kits. I just had our art guys photograph that assembly by itself, since it wasn't in the previous kit layout shot and I wanted to give you an accurate portrayal of the replacement reservoir assembly by itself.

@Brian@Vortech , Is this available for purchase separately from the whole SC kit? Many of us that are n/a want to replace the washer fluid tank to make room for brake ducting, oil cooler lines, etc.

A little noisy at the top, but otherwise I love the torque curve. Now...how can I work 200 hours of overtime, take delivery and do the install without my fiance noticing.
