Subaru got jealous of TRD having their "door stabilizers".

(I kid, mostly because I know the door stabilizers work. Good to see Subaru producing more unique goodies! )

SPT prolly won't get any of the STi Accessories, ever. They never have in the past for any of the other Suby models. They'll release the Strut Bar and Front lip but both will still be STi branded.

This is now showing available on the STi site - http://www.sti.jp/parts/catalogue/br...0118AS000.html

The comparable GR/GV and BM/BR parts are just over three and the SH is directly comparable at 618. Meh.

Any chance you could translate GR, GV, BM, BR, SH, J-parts, and hundge for us?

For that matter, can someone explain what this part does. I mean, I'm guessing this goes under the car somewhere and gets tightened into place, holding parts together. But what parts?

Thanks guys.

GR/GV - Current model WRX/STi
BM/BR - Current model Legacy Sedan, Wagon and Outback
SH - Current model Forester
J-Parts - japanparts.com
hundge - one hundred US dollars

It's another trick part from the minds at Subaru Tecnica International, Subaru's aftermarket tuner arm.
It will tighten the suspension in handling and steering by connecting the suspension to the chassis.

I've owned old Honda's in the past which had rare Mugen goodies on them which were either hard to come by, or not often purchased. Although there are a dozen companies out there that make the same parts, which do the same job, for cheaper, there is something about having the OEM sister companies parts on your car that feels good.

I know some see it as a waste of money, but this is the first car of the 18 cars/projects I've owned in my 20 years of driving that I think I'll actually keep for a really long time and I think this will make me the happiest 10-15 years down the road.

QFT. This is exactly why I am on an OEM+ build path. These are the kind of parts that really excite me. The price tag really hurts on some of them though.

^ Yeah. I know my build will go much slower by paying Sti parts prices, but I view this build as a long term project.
