It's certainly a novel way to calibrate a rolling road!

It'd be nice to see some proper engine dyno development, where the only corrections are based on atmospherics.

I honestly don't care much what The guys in Japan do. The Dyno pertinent to me, the USA Dyno is what I look at to decide if I want this kit or not. The USA Dyno numbers add up and stay true to their math.

I don't like math. someone needs to run this kit on dyno here in the US with a car with 93 oct and not 91-92 oct which is only mandatory in 5% of the country.
your 95% percentile want numbers.

As long as no misleading dynos are posted, I agree

Avo doesnt have 93 where they are so its 91.

Why dont you buy some stainless steel and a welder and put a kit together yourself?

Nothing irritates me more are the people who cant making demands of the people who do.

Im not sure what happened with the dyno from the overseas dyno. But knowing AVO, it wasNt something intentional to the misleading of everyone. Something with the scaling, the wrong overlay was put on, etc.

AVO isnt some fly by night outfit that hit the scene in the last 4 months that no one has heard of before....all to crank out some junk for the brz market so they could make a quick buck then disappear. They have been on the scene a very long time with *literally* an international base and reputation.

This will also be the *only* kit avail for the car that will see a multitude of testing conditions and fuels....elevations, climates, use type, etc.

All will be well.

I certainly and dearly wish gas would just be gas, but it's not. And it's not even just 5% of the country, not in terms of car sales. It's the entire West Coast that's a maximum of 92 ethanol blend, and out of that, Cali and others are only 91. Add in the variances in gas between gas stations, and we cannot even guarantee the 91/92.

I do know people want to see more numbers, now, but testing does take time. What they are doing in Japan right now isn't in regards to peak numbers, but thorough testing of the limits of the stock fuel pump(s) and injectors. That's important data for reliability of the engine boosted with our kit, we know where it can go to safely with the standard setup, and when it's going to hit the wall on OEM fueling and those parts will need to be upgraded.

The january ones are all paid and spoken for, next shipment wont be till march according to Paul as of today. Assuming that if you already paid for one, then you would in the first batch of shipments, i just spoke with him today and made the purchase today, so i am in the second batch.

I am sure he will chime in if this is incorrect.

That's essentially it - the demand for the kit has been tremendous worldwide. That's why we are doing so much R&D into the tuning. It's not just 91/93 octane we have to worry about, it's gas quality/conditions spread out across world.

A large factor in the kit design was making it RHD/LHD compatible.

LOL, I've been waiting for the 93 octane results and maybe a third party dyno or two. But it sounds like these will be backed up until 2014 by the time that happens. Oh well.
