Only just done it today. Using subaruEdit's logger's virtual dyno, I ran about 340WHP with 69mm pulley.
Using the same virtual dyno I got 290WHP on 98 RON.

It's highly advised to lower the RPM limit to around 7000. This spins the supercharger to the same RPM as 7650 engine RPM on the 69mm pulley.

This is an interesting questions because i just supercharged my brz and i also have a Fiesta ST which is a turbo. While i cant quite push the brz yet (still refining the tune) i've driven it enough to tell the difference between the two.

Short answer: I cant choose between the two, i love both

On my brz (Edelbrock kit) i get boost right from the get go. I can feel the low end torque and off the line it's lightning fast compared to the fiesta. It also just seems to pull harder in every gear as opposed to before FI.

With the Fiesta, i really enjoy the boost build time while in first. But soon as i slam it into second i get a ton of torque steer and i get thrown back into my seat. that is also a ton a fun. I have noticed however that down shifting and then flooring it, the Fiesta doesnt respond quite as well. I'm assuming thats because no boost has been built.

Overall i Love the turbo and i love the supercharger. If i HAD to choose one...maybe the supercharger just because the power delivery is so much more linear. But they are both a blast to drive.

Love the 16g in my saabaru, its faster than the centrifugal vortec FRS for sure but when I get bored of it the FRS becomes fun again. Its just a different type of fast. The cycle repeats. Sometimes I miss the stock turbo on the wrx, it was fun/fast in its own way with almost instant boost at really low RPM, even though it ran out of steam way too soon. Much more fun in town though.

Bottom line is you will have fun with any forced induction, and then you may want more/different/etc.

All depends on the person of course, I don't think I could say any system is better than another in terms of power delivery, because they all have their unique characteristics that can be enjoyed. I can't really open up the wrx unless I'm on the highway, and then we are talking illegal speeds and endangerment. FRS with a centrifugal feels fast and you ring the nuts off the motor to make your peak power which is fun.

I really want to try a PD blower on an FRS, seems like it would be a blast around town.

For the cetri guys. How does it feel up top in the rpm? Is it like a gradual build up that gets more intense and pushes you back into your seat? Thats the feeling I am looking for.

Didnt read the whole thread but here's my take:

PD supercharger makes low end torque, will feel fast off the line. Will require rear traction upgrade(s), not an option.

Twin scroll turbo behaves similar to PDS but usually more complex install, involves oil line and possible coolant lines. No parasitic loss, peters out at top end. Also needs traction upgraded.

Centri SC builds power linearly, as well as torque. Car not extremely faster off the line, but much more high up and high speed power.

Turbo, not twin scroll, surge of power usually mid revs and builds from there. Feels more powerful than centri SC due to rapid power onset when meet target revs. If its a bigger turbo can be scary when wheels break traction at speed, midway through gears.

Max power- regular turbo

Most like bigger displacement engine- PD SC

Screaming power like JDM engines we dont get here- Centri SC

Drives like a GTI- TS turbo LOL

PS-I have a centri SC on my twin and a twin scroll on my commuter car.

I'm kind of surprised no one has tried to twin charge one of these things yet. You'd think a pd sc and a massive turbo would have lured someone to try it by now.

Law* of diminishing returns. Lots of money/hassle when one or the other seems to the job adequately.

Pretty sure it has been done.Not a good bang for the buck and probably very cramped under the hood. Id be more inclined to do sequential turbos.
