86 competitor here. Midwest to be more specific. I have their level 2 package. Splitter, Diffuser, and Canards. I've seen my time get better by dropping 2-3 seconds.

also, remember, it's not ALWAYS about the parts, it's also the driver behind the wheel too. As well as the consistency at the particular track.

I drove Gingerman Raceway for 3 years straight with basically no aero until last year with Verus parts. I was stuck at a constant 1:45. I'm now at a 1:42. So not quite sure how "some guy" would go slower.

I can imagine - "why". For example, when those aero parts were installed, at same time other parts were installed too, and some work botched or done wrong (eg. alignment), or comparison tests were done without eliminating variables, eg. car with aero "track-dynoed" with worn by that time tires or in different weather, or driver is not very consistent. I know for myself that my inconsistent lap times cannot serve as any indicator for parts/setup evaluation, as simply my mistakes of different count and at different points make up more laptime difference then parts may, each lap. Due this all i can - ask someone more consistent to "dyno", or simply reuse common/proven by many other drivers setups.

I emailed as well. Please re-do this to fit 2017+ models. You'll be the only one on the market if you do.

Thanks for the feedback Peter. It is greatly appreciated. I'm not quite sure how we would stay in business if our products did not help the vast majority of our customers achieve lower times.

We are looking into it. Sadly it requires a completely new mold .

Thanks,
Eric

Do you guys have a timeline on your decision? Reason I ask is Boxerfest is coming up and if you decide to not do a new mold, I want to be able to shop around.

We will probably make a decision in the next few months, but it would then take ~2-3 months from the time we move forward to having parts. Molds take 1-2 months to make and then carbon is notoriously slow. Everything is hand fabricated, you can only produce 1 piece a day off the (1) mold we would produce, autoclave generally only runs once a day as a batch load, etc, etc.

We have a 13-16 unit right now.

Hey Guys,

We are working on finishing the initial batch of 2013-2016 units. It appears that Matte clear units were finished first, so we should be able to ship those in the next week or so.

We are waiting for feedback from the 2013-2016 group of customers; their likes/dislikes (hopefully none) before moving forward with a 2017+ model. I hope you can understand why; tooling is multiple thousands so we want to fix any "issues" or negatives before we order more tooling.

Thanks,
Eric

Hey Eric,

Does this mean you guys are planning on proceeding with producing a 2017+ model? I have been super interested since I saw your first post on the FB group for the 2013-2016 model and also provided some measurements via email. If you guys are moving forward, any idea of what sort of timelines we're looking at for launch?

Thanks

Yes, we are. We want to hear feedback from the 13-16 guys that have ordered though; so that we can make any necessary revisions. We are hopeful that everyone likes everything about them (they are *very* nice pieces) but would like to correct anything we may have overlooked (cough 2017+ fitment ) if we are going to have to machine new tooling anyway.

I would say 3 months realistically.

Thanks,
Eric

Sweet - that definitely works with my timeline, lol. I'd way rather be able to buy 2017 fitment than have to get a 13-16 trunk paint matched.

Clay reached out to everyone in the pre-order for the polished spoilers. We are QC'ing and packaging them today and Monday. If you haven't heard from us, please reach out but I am sure Clay sent out e-mails to all involved.

Thank you and have a great weekend.

MY15 BRZ Limited here. How do these attach to the car? 3M tape? nuts/bolts? Any drilling involved?

Thanks in advance!
