I was just using obdII thing with my phone, i'll have to see which one it was pulling info from

If you didn't install an IAT sensor in the manifold then it'll be the standard MAF one which means you're seeing IATs at the beginning of the intake and not post compression.

i don't think a bigger intercooler would help. I'm pretty sure the laminova core is just a bit too small.

Have you checked that your coolant system has been completely purged of air? Mine was having heaps of bogging issues due to cooling system not being bled.

Yeah, it's bled. I actually just had to get a replacement intercooler pump from them, since mine was leaking. Maybe it was having flow issues too, have yet to install it, but once I put it on, I'll send it back to them so they can test it.

is any coolant acceptable for the Intercooler system or does it have to be a certain kind?

If I'm not wrong whole world using water for intercooler. They say the best liquid for this purpose is water.

Water is wrong. It says coolant in the instructions.

Water is a coolant... I searched for the coolant types and water came always. In some conditions they add some antifreeze but that's it.

It really depends on where you live. If you're in places that see sub 0 degC temperatures, coolant is needed for its anti freezing qualities. If you're in hot areas that don't get near the freezing point of water, then water can be used.

You cannot just use water by itself though, you'll want to use a corrosion inhibitor additive pack. Look up redline water wetter for example.
