50/50% at fault ?

Gratitude? How would anyone feel about getting a call from your boss telling you out of the blue your terminated after the rush is over, with no possibility to renegotiate?

You can’t take away that he is a 4 time World champion and deserves some respect as well!

You look at your last co-worker to leave and the boss gave him a nice soft landing.
When they wanted Charlie they found room for Kimi at AR.. and gave him his 2018 car.
Imagine if Seb would have landed at AR as well… Sebs last race finished with his rear brake exploding…

Rumours are he accepted a lot less to get in AM next year from what Ferrari are paying.
His will to continue in F1 is still there.

Am I a Seb fan? Never was till 2 years ago, just like to root for the underdogs cause im eating way too many HAM sandwiches on race day.

I'm a fan of anyone who can challenge Mercedes for a title. Well, except Verstappen. He got away with too much questionable driving early on at red bull.

Great commentating by Russel in this video. Crazy to see how far ahead they look when they are looking at the flags in the distance to see the wind direction going into certain corners.

If we can judge todays practice Im stocking up on some HAMburger for sunday like it or not.

U talking about Balls to the wall pass or crash Mad Max? or Max Emilian Verstappen that now races in his place 4 years later and found out crashing by himself on the warm up lap is more rewarding?

Oh I know he's gotten a lot better over the last few years. I just have a long memory when it comes to being annoyed at someone lol.

Then again, the Austria 2019 pass on Leclerc was showing his old self again.

Kimi negotiated his own deal with Alfa based on his previous relationship with the Sauber team, Ferrari left him out in the cold too, and they'll do the same to Sharl and Carlos when their time comes.

Saulfa has one driver of Ferrari's choosing and one of their own, they let Marcus Ericsson go to put Kimi in and Giovinazzi is Ferrari's pick.

Did Ferrari ask you to take over Räikkönen?

No, no, that has nothing to do with Ferrari. When it was clear for Räikkönen that he would not be driving for Ferrari in the coming year, he used his connections to our team, that he still has. There was a phone call from him, then we met. The talks started only after the race in Monza. This is a very late time, and therefore everything had to go very fast.

Lets be real, Seb has failed to impress in the Ferrari, especially against a relative rookie, so has Kimi and Alonso. His value has gone down, the lesser contract is a no brainer and he knows it and has said as much. While he's likely not feeling great about leaving Ferrari I doubt there's much animosity there, especially after an off season cooling down and working with a new team, one that'll probably deliver him better finishes then if he had stayed in red. A happy Seb is formidable, I'm curious to see how he'll do and this will be a make or break moment for his career matched up against Lance.

Interesting point, Seb will have driven cars with Renault, Ferrari, and Mercedes powerplants as of next year.

.. .My selective memory on the events get shot down by fact I did not bother to recheck!

I still like my alternate reality story better.

Will make the 'underdog' story of Seb likely outscoring Sharl and Sainz next year more enjoyable.

Yes, I've read several articles about this sale that state that but... WHY?
Why does McLaren need to be "liquid" at this point in time? Is there something in the wind (a big name driver and/or tech/race director) that they are working on??
It's my understanding that both Toto and Lewis will be "free agents" at the end of this season as neither have signed a new deal.
Also, with 8+ shareholders (all investment firms or individuals) forming the McLaren Group you'd think they could raise the needed capital without having to devalue the company by selling off their greatest fixed assets.
That is unless they have already mortgaged said assets and then it's not "liquidity" but rather debt repayment.

Someone must have heard you:

As of 20 minutes ago another explanation:

https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/a...o0aD3Zv1W.html

Kind of makes you wonder should I sell my house & rent it back will it make me richer if I re-invest it or just poorer when I dispose the extra Liquidity I will be getting when I buy more toys?

Gasly out in Q1, Leclerc qualified P5! Sainz was P9 2.7 seconds off the pole time.

Track looks awesome but it doesn't seem like it is going to give many passing opportunities. Maybe i'll be wrong

F1, Attaining its Spending price cap one race at a time…

Great to see all the RED flags out in support of Ferrari’s SF1000
