With a SC like the op.... I bet exhausts make minimal difference. The CSG car still runs a stock muffler
Is that not too quiet for the track?

I'm also considering going back to the stock catback. There's no point for my car to be as loud as it is lol

Is there a requirement for a car to be loud to be a track car?

So in a SC setup does it matter what size it is? Is there any performance benefit to being 3" compared to 2.5" (Front and over pipe and Catback)

The only thing I'm seeing is that the 3" is just louder, and there's really not much of a reason to be 3" in a SC setup, now for a turbo from what I'm reading it's a great benefit.

I was under the impression there was a performance benefit. If there is only benefit to turbo setups and not superchargers, then that would be a waste of money.

I was thinking of going with the Corsa 2.5" but thought for more performance gains I needed a 3"

Well I saw @CSG Mike in this thread and I was hoping maybe he could chime in on this. Because if there really is not much of a performance benefit for a SC setup then I can easily just save some money when I buy my headerback exhaust parts by just buying 2.5" instead of 3"

Not worth the accompanying increase in noise, in my opinion
