Was in the mood for noodz tonight, so I went to a Taiwanese noodle place for the first time in ages.

Spicy beef noodle soup:



I went on my own and I am pretty sure they gave me the white people level spice, which was a little disappointing but oh well.

Tried a filipino place I didn't know about for lunch. Honestly not sure what I got. One of the proteins was some kind of stew with ginger and other spices, the second was a pork stir fry (it was kinda like sisig, which i love, but i don't know if that's what it was and the lady didn't seem to speak English ).

Looks like Pork Adobo and a variation on Beef Caldereta.

I think the right one was machado with beef, maybe. Left one was definitely pork.

On my thanksgiving week tour de cuisine, miso ramen from a place that I've known about for a while but never tried, which I now regret. They even have their own ramen noodle making machine, which is some pretty legit tier ramen shop stuff.
