No I haven't personally seen anyone run it, I've never heard of anyone running it, 255 is more of a 9/9.5 inch wheel thing

Should be fine if you don't have a lot of negative camber.

interesting...but 255 really shouldn't be on an 8"

Either way, the tire will more than likely rub on the inside strut/spring since you're running double crash bolts. What camber settings are you at right now?

Take a look at this: thanks to @track_warrior
This a 245/40, but you want 255 + camber bolts. It would be close
Also depends which 255 tire you run, some run wider than others.

Ended up buying +35 as camber is a priority. Thanks for the input !

I'll post some pics when everything is all done, as the snow keeps falling up here.

Offset Matters.
That tire size is too tall.
It will rub the rear bumper tab on bigger bumps at the very least.

18x9.5 +45 255x35 in back

But what about the 9"+ tire on an 8" wheel...

You guys (except a few of you of course) are forum tuners. Plenty of people are running 255 tires on 8 inch rims at the track, and its been like that for years. Get out there. Stretching is bad, be e-thugs about that. Let people that have been involved with the track do their things and keep regurgitating what is normal and what is not somewhere else.

Thanks !

45 series tires are too tall. For 19's you need 30 series. Rears will probably rub bumper tabs, but anything low with air suspension will be a tight fit if you are trying to tuck tire/rim. Also depending on the airbags, there will be about 15mm less inside clearance than stock so those wheels won't work. Search for bags fitment(?) thread for more info.

What suspension?
Adapters? Size?
Tires? Lots of camber?
Should be able to fit it as is, you can search for the wide body/rocket bunny wheel fitment thread for more specific info on other people's setups.
