My wife received the preliminary notice of recall for her 18 Outback yesterday afternoon. All it really says at this point is "Wait we are figuring out what to do and who really needs it". Letters are expected to go to those impacted by September 13th.

My old lady had her fuel pump replaced last week in her RAV-4 under a similar recall. Same Denso pump as used in all of these.

At least it is not MY12 & MY13 this time around. When I first saw the headline, I must admit I thought “great, what now?”.

I said MY old lady, not AN old lady, there's a difference. I've been using that to refer to her since we met about 26 years ago. |

I'm getting this strange feeling that you're trying to bait me into a witty comeback...... ......HOWEVER....... .......I respect my elders......... .........Especially the really old and decrepit ones that can't remember what they had for breakfast, or where they parked their car at the mall, or when it's time to take their Metamucil. So yeah, respect! |
