Exhaust Recommendation on JDL Turbo Setup

Hey ya'll I've finally gotten the JDL Turbo Kit installed and it sounds awesome and pulls amazingly on the GTX2867R Gen2 setup. However, I'm curious to know what exhaust y'all are running on your cars.

Currently I'm on the 2.5" Resonated Perrin catback and 2.5" JDL dual resonated front pipe and its much much quieter thank I thought (~80 db at redline outside standing a few feet away). My turbo setup outlet flange was set to 2.5". Would it be worth upgrading to a 3" catback or if I want something slight louder to just go for another 2.5" catback?

I don't know that 3 inch will make it louder but it should have a deeper tone. I think muffler style will have a much greater affect on volume. "Tuner" style cans will be loud and suitcases will be quiet

Upgrading the cat back to 3 inch will do nothing. Change sound possibly. Upgrade to full 3 inch exhaust will get loud and better spool.

as others said 2.5inch is not really an issue till 400+WHP so 3inch would be more noise and NVH from drone. You want more noise switch out cat back. You already have a ball bearing turbo in the GTX line so you won't gain much more spool time. What boost and fuel are you running?

Look at something like this if you have access to a stock Midpipe

so i'm on 8.5 psi I believe (that is what is on the dyno sheet) on 91 octane

I was thinking about going with something like the corsa or the MXP RS. I've had the Invidia N2 but the drone was too much for me, however that was also before I had a dual resonated front pipe

Of those 2 Corsa for sure. Turbo will help with dual resonated FP
