Did you measure the ports in the 2.4 head?

Thanks for the sub. You get a bit more growl with the headers but cold start sounds tinny due to cat warmup procedure. The sound is not too great - I think something like a Perrin catback and turning off the sound enhancer will be the sweet spot here.

Thank you for doing this! I've already subscribed, but you guys are definitely the best channel for gen 2 mods right now. No one to my knowledge has even thought about trying to put a gen1 aftermarket header on a gen2. That's excellent news to hear they bolt up perfectly! I would definitely be curious to see if a higher quality header like Tomei or Ace or Gruppe S would work better with the gen 2 car. As far as I know the Borlas were actually one of the crappier options you could get, despite their price. Anyway, I'm very much looking forward to the next videos. Keep it up!

@Strat_FRS If you ever come to Alberta with the Gen 2 hit me up, hopefully by then I will have mine as well. The new track here opens up next summer, should come out for a track day 👍

Just for kicks, Looking at the power/weight ratio of the gen2 against the WRX and 2.0 Supra, on paper the gen2 BRZ is just below both of them. So the specs we see may very well be such that these other cars “look better” on paper… fine by me… us twin owners always have been “in the know” that there was more to it than specs suggest… :-) Very nice to see how much potential the gen2 now has, which was already very high on gen1.

The C/D tests put the '22 right between the '21 WRX and STI

Due to the weight and response of the NA engine the car feels genuinely quick.
