Dyno scheduled for next Tuesday at Drift Office. Testing stock exhaust and the Perrin. Don't expect any real differences but meh, might as well check.

Weird to go all the way to the dyno to do 1-2 runs. Why not several runs while its rigged up and see how the power curve changes, to be sure you have a robust measurment.

I'll bet a first gen reads 160 on that dyno.

Another strong showing. If you were cool you would up load the chart so we can overlay it with others from Drift Office.

In that video they indicate using a 15% drive train loss correction factor. The Dyno I have nearby is a Maha dyno, which calculates crank hp as well as wheel hp, and in my runs drive train losses vary over the rpm range, but typically would range between 20% and 30% on my gen 1. I found generally 22-23% is a good average. It could be that the gen2 is that much more efficient, but I’ll be curious to see how the gen2 reads on the maha. With 200whp and say 20% drive train loss would be 250 CHP. Anyone has any other data points along those lines ?

At max power, the runs I have seen show drive train losses between 23% and 25% depending on the car., (probably in 4th or 5th gear)

Gonna throw up this FB post by Shiv (owner of Open Flash Performance) that was on the FRS/BRZ/86 Enthusiast page showing his personal 2022 BRZ on the dynojet he uses for tuning 86/BRZ’s.
