built block options

so i blew my engine today cruising on the highway. oil all over the place and none in the engine. its totally seized. so now i guess i build the block and throw the super charger on which i get monday. so what are my options? I guess IAG closed deck?

Closed deck is unnecessary, our cylinder walls are not thin like EJ motors. Stage 1 IAG is fine

for heads and cam do you just run stock? i have a c38 showing up tomorrow and i am extremely tempted to just say fuck it and go full project car and get an RS pulley and cd009 swap. im kind of glad this happened now vs when i would be tuning it with zach

I used the IAG S1 but stayed NA. Have the stock heads machined and if you have an oil cooler trash it and get a new one.

Yep, everything works with stock. Stock headgaskets as well

I would recommend upgrading the valve springs. I meant as far as boring them out, upgrading cams, etc

Yeah it's a miserable situation no matter where it happens. Mine spun itself (for the 3rd time) on my way to work on a negative 5 degree F morning.
Make certain that you run all of your purchases choices by the tuner before making them; the last thing you want is something your tuner/builder doesn't recommend and they don't want to deal with figuring it out.

Biggest thing to be certain of is that you get a checklist of everything they're going to need- headstuds, fluids, gaskets, etc.
