This might not exactly be true. I haven't exactly looked too closely at the exhaust system yet, and don't know how far apart the two cats are from each other, but if you are going from 2 down to 1, the replacement cat has to be no more than 6 inches from the exit of the last cat.

Quote:
E. Catalytic Converters - Any high flow catalytic converter(s) are allowed,
but must attach within six inches of the original unit. Multiple
catalytic converters may be replaced by a single unit. The inlet of the
single replacement converter may be located no further downstream
than 6” along the piping flow path from the original exit of the final
OE converter.
This means that the replacement cat, has to be within 6 inches of the one in the midpipe. If the cat in the header is within 6 inches, its fine. If not, then you can't do it.

Just so everyone is clear, that is the FARTHEST it can be downstream is 6" past the last cat. You can however put it within 6" of the upstream one instead. Given the design of the stock header and aftermarket headers we have seen so far it would be vary hard to not meet this rule.

Factory Supercharged only?

I'm not replacing the front pipe cat - I'm deleting it and have only the one in the header.

Would like to see a back-to-back w/ the R-S3s to see which one is faster. Also, why is the 245/40-17s heavier than the 255s?

I think its going to depend on the course and venue.. I am going to have both.. RS3's and the Z2's .. both mounted up.. so I will have a choice..
