Top gear: best car manufacturer
Last night I was watching top gear and they had a top gear watcher assignment to name the best car manufacturer. so maybe I'll do same here who is the best car maker? you'll need to name all chassis, 1 point per name, cant do a VW golf GTI MKI, II, III, IV, V,VI thats only 1 point. Im making my list it may take a few hrs lol...

Huh? What are the requirements for best car maker? If it's point based, then the more models the better?

Which company has made the largest numbers of great cars? In terms of number of units produced, that'd be Mazda:
MX5 850k+ RX7 800k+ RX8 175k+ It's especially impressive since they're a relatively small company. |

Are we limiting this to Japanese carmakers, or is this anything goes? Because if it's the latter, I think it'd be pretty hard to argue against Ferrari for number of different desirable models (even though you could argue that a lot of these "new models" are just replacements for outgoing models, and therefore that's a loophole in this contest)

But saying the cars are rubbish is highly subjective, as is this entire poll, which is its biggest flaw (but that's not to say it's not an entertaining idea!). Anyhow, IF I take the argument that 99% of Ferrari's different models are really just different generations of similar cars (and therefore negating the number of models I can count), then I would probably have to go with... oh, hell, I don't know! |
