Adding to my previous post...

145) Play Dungeons and Dragons remotely. My son, who is a dungeon master, did this last night with his friends, two of which are "self isolated" because they were exposed, used Skype and it worked well.

146) spend all day watching people take delivery of their C8s at the museum.

147) We get the day off -

Our daughter is working from home - so, she is watching the granddaughters.

It's 0730, is it too early for a nap -

None of my business but as always I am going to say it anyway...

LIKE SHE SHOULD BE!
You are in the highest risk category there is. You should not be having the kids around for any reason. It is a fact that kids can carry the virus and be completely symptom free. They are far more likely to come in contact than an adult is since they are kids after all and kids play together and touch things.
As much as it may bug your wife and daughter you should be staying well away from all kids until this is over.

I will now get off my soapbox.

148) Doing virtual tours searching for the next home starting with Zillow, Realtor, etc. After finding a prospective property, virtually flying and driving around the neighborhood with Google Earth then searching government databases for helpful tools. With rates this low, it's time to make the move.

I will now get off my soapbox.
Well, thanks for your concern -

You bring up a very valid point.

I have taken several precautions along those lines.

* the granddaughters wash their hands first thing when they enter the house

* they are not allowed to mess around my desk

* no kissing of pa-pa allowed

* I take their temperature if any of them act or look feverish

* If I want the TV channel put on the news (about the only thing I watch on TV) I ask someone else to do it

* ma-ma and I just do a touchy on the shoulder thing if we want to show affection

The kids aren't in school and don't play with other kids during this period of time.

I get plenty of rest. Yes, I'm capable of three hour naps -

Again, thanks for your concern -

I'm pleased that you are taking precautions. Don't forget a 2m cordoned area so no one invades your space.

BTW, you can get TVs with devices that allow you to change channels, turn on and off from a distance. You don't need to seek assistance..

Where are you looking to move to?

Yep, these days there is so much information on line that one can almost pick a property sitting at home.

The exact opposite of back in the 70s when we moved to CT. At that time the CT MLS was closed to the public, no for sale signs were allowed on a property (in Newtown, CT at least) so, the best source for properties for sale was a real estate broker. If you saw it advertised in the newspaper, it was too late.

Yep, the days of "pocket listings" and "hot sheets".

Not when you have to adjust the rabbit ears for each station

I will now get off my soapbox.

I'm stunned at the pics of larger than normal Spring Break gatherings due to the extended college shutdowns. True, young adults aren't in the high risk group but it's so selfish of them to possibly carry something back home to older friends and family. Time for authorities in a few countries to drop the hammer and shut them down.

Thanks, my office area is pretty much tucked away in a corner. If I'm not there, I can be found in our bedroom, napping - and NO grandchildren DARE to disturb me there -

Oh yes, the TV remote(s). Back in the day, when we only had 3 channels (on a clear night), I was OK.

NOW, there are a few hundred cable channels with 3 remotes and each one has all these buttons. Hell, the 3 age-er, even talks to the remote and it changes channels for her -

What to do .......

If you live in Portland you can order from “Boober Eats”. One of the strip clubs is having their dancers deliver food in pasties and booty shorts.

Or, if you lived out in the country, where rabbit ears just couldn't get it, one had to reach out the window and turn the TV antenna pole by hand.
