Fog lights with parking lights
Hello
Already found one topic about this theme, but got no useful information for myself from there. So the question is: Can someone provide me with the wiring diagram of the Light Switch (which is on the steering wheel column), so i just need the wire color which comes into the light control switch (which is “+” from headlights), so i just case connect wire from parking lights to the light control switch directly, so when parking lights are working i could just rotate switch to activate front fog lights and they would work with parking lights (because i will connect “+” from parking lights to the light control switch. I hope you understood me, so simply: What color is “+” wire from headlights which comes into the light switch to turn fog light on? |

The light switch doesn’t work like that. The lights are controlled by the bcm. The switch uses simple logic to communicate the available selections over two wires. There is no individual circuit for each lighting source as in antique vehicles.

yep, no way to easily use the turn signal stalk fog switch without majorly cutting into difficult-to-source factory wiring.
but the fog lamps are activated by the bcm via a relay under the hood. if one were to pick up one of the many toyota fog light switches and switch add-on panels available from various sources, it wouldn't be all that hard to connect the two if one were so inclined.
