Drove my 86 the past few weeks during ice and snow in Texas. Did not crash. Was very scared. Will be getting off the summer tires asap.

Drove my son's FR-S several times in the last week while I was visiting in Ohio and I did not crash even when driving on ice and snow.

I still love that car.

I def almost caused a bad crash over the weekend. It was maybe 20 F outside, cloudy. Totally dry.

Me in turn lane to cross 2 lanes. About 100 feet up the road is a blind crest.

Road opens and I start to enter into intersection. Oh shit, car in turn lane going really slow. Okay, wait, wait.

Okay, start to go. Oh, wait. A car doing something north of 60 (in a 40) comes over the hill as I'm turning. I can either brake and turn back or go for it.

Eh, I can gun it. Heh.

Then I remember that the MPSS SUCK in the cold. I have VSC Sport on, as I always do. 'Trac' isn't off (probably a mistake).

I do a mini donut in the intersection. Now facing the right direction, the car cuts power, completely.1... 2... car is about to clip my rear. Foot to the floor. Come on, Toyota. Then spin-spin-spin and just barely get out of the way.

I've never had the MPSS in the winter, so I'm not well acclimated to how much they suck in temps under 40 F. Almost rear ended someone a few months back because the car basically took 3 times longer than normal to stop.

Lesson learned. Even when the conditions are normal, if its cold, drive like you are in a downpour - if running MPSS tires.

Actually, if I have passengers in the car I usually go into chauffeur mode. So don't get any comments which is a good thing. It's because of this my wife is hypersensitive to when revs go over 3k. So have to condition her to higher revs...

The exit from my cottage. Passengers are not exempt from my departure techniques.
Have not crashed there yet.

If you're in Scarborough for whatever reason, go to Twyn Rivers with a passenger doing the the limit or even lower than. It's literally like they just dropped a random mountain road in the middle of a dense city, or like it missed being updated like the rest of grid based GTA. Bikers die on this road from being stupid af or just making mistakes.

Two turns, definitely a mountain road.

Why is your cottage in the middle of a roundabout?
