40k on e85? Are you using flex fuel kit?

Listen to the rpms on the line and listen every time I flatfoot shift and it bangs the rpm limiter.. I have 100s of passes and street abuse to on that engine and its still going strong. 35k on that motor..
I bought another engine just so I could keep my original engine on a stand in my garage .lol
These motors are pretty strong and dependable if you do the maintenance...

No I just switch back & forth between my E85 & 93-octane tune. I only use 93 octane during winter because of the hard starts in cold weather.

13.5 is awesome, congrats! I've tried flat-foot shifting once, but I was so focused on pressing the clutch that I messed up my shift from 2nd to 3rd and got a nasty GRIND from the tranny haha. Haven't tried it since.

What RPM do you launch at? I've tried launching from redline a few times just to hear the cheap stock tires squeal lol.

That was like 7500 maybe 7800 but with stock tires you will have to start a lot lower like 5k and play with it, a lot of it is the track prep and tire pressure.. Then its clutch release slow or fast. just have to find the right combo for your needs

Your a little late to the game, no offense. Stock engine will not make power up there, not enough VE to support it, regardless of what you do with the tune. At this point every tuning trick has been tried and tried again.

TLDR, all the tuners have been there, tried that, then added boost cause the stock motor (even with supporting bolt-ons inclusing EL header) runs out of VE by 7500 RPM or so.

I know that some tuners were raising rev limit to allow 60 mph in 2nd gear and eliminate the need for an additional shift. The power drop off was so bad though that it was quicker to use 3rd gear.

Justin, did you ever make a pass when stock? The quickest im aware of is 14.75 with 100 octane.

If I remember right it was a 14.9 on 93 octane. Maybe 14.7 but I can't remember. That's a 100% stock no tuning. My fastest 13.47 on E85

I'm a little surprised that @celek's thread hasn't been mentioned yet.
