All USB ports are 5V except for certain high-powered USB3 ports. Otherwise, it's only the amps that vary. Each USB spec allows for higher current than the previous.

Not sure what the twins come with for USB spec. Might be 3.0, but even then, it might do 5V only.

Get one of these. 2.1 amps. Charges my note 3 to 80% in about 20 minutes.

I have a random no-name one that I found in a car at work. But honestly if I need to charge the phone fast I just put it in airplane mode.

I believe all apple chargers are 1.0 amps. Usually 2.1 amp chargers are used for devices with 3500mAmp or higher batter capacity. Only tablet have 2.1 amp charger.
look at the output amp from the image below.

He needs to trade that GTI in and get an FRS.

Yeah I know... I let him drive mine on Sunday and he liked it. I think it might take more convincing than that though...

I get them sporatically seems to be more isolated to the eth content than anything. I haven't heard them when I have nothing but shell in it, but the last time I had some Petro 94 and some Esso 93 mix going on I was getting pretty worried lol
