That does mean getting a reliable boost source is a bit more difficult than just splicing into an existing line.

I'm hoping someone has already used this location and can perhaps provide the thread type/size of the hole. If not, I'll pull the plug and figure it out (posting the results here, of course)

This might be why I am not seeing boost from my gauge, right @armstrom if you check out my prior post? BTW, I put a WRX PCV valve on the car and a check valve along with dual catch cans. Overkill? Probably, but it couldn't be bad, right?

Did you ever get an answer about that port? I think I noticed it too on the back of the manifold. I honestly don't know where the oil fill port is, so I didn't know if that was a pressure port or some type of fill port.

@HarropOz is that a port we can use for boost. If so, what is the thread size please and thank you?

Yes. that is read from the MAP sensor which is located in the plenum after the SC.

What about that port on the back, did you ever use it for a boost gauge? If so, what size tap n thread is it?

Nah, I never bothered. A boost gauge on superchargers isn't terribly useful since they are so consistent. If I need to debug an issue and want to confirm the boost pressure I'll just look at datalogs or OBD2 data.

The problem I am seeing now might be insufficient fuel pressure for my pulley. Im using the 85mm or 11.5 psi. Doing a WOT datalog for DT I reached 1.84 bar or 12.1 psi, and maybe that is too much boost. I might try to drop the pulley to the stock pulley (95mm).
My car did fine on stock fuel system at 12 psi, I was even able to run an E20 blend to make an extra 30hp revving the car out to 7800rpm.

You see the post above? Lol I didn’t need to do the WRX PCV, and you weren’t hurting anything by not running one because the PCV never saw boost. Oh well, unnecessary insurance isn’t the end of the world.

Here is a WOT pull. I’m an amateur at reading these, but I feel like there is a fueling issue, and he asked if I had an aftermarket fuel pump or something. I was only at a quarter tank, but the fuel pressure at the regulator looks flat enough. There is a point where the port and direct injectors seem to be changing their ratio and that may be the source. I dunno.

For anyone interested, the bung on the passenger side rear of the manifold is American sized (at least it is in America), which is kind of annoying because I hate imperial units, but good because NPT stuff is what we have in stores. Regardless, it took a 3/16 sized Allen wrench to remove the bung, which was a 1/8 NPT sized (tapered). I found a brass fitting at the hardware store that was 1/8 bung to 1/8 NPT. I used some Locktite, and it went right in. Now I am able to read boost and not just vacuum.

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to pop in and let all of you know that Phase 10 RaceROM is finally here for all model years and all regions of the world (Not just the initial 2013-2014 and 2017-2018 release), from 2013-2018 models on USDM, European, Asian, JDM (Yes it's different), and Gulf spec ECU's. Our entire tune library has been updated to accommodate the new software, and we are now rolling out these tunes to new and existing customers. A lot of our customers running Harrop kits have been asking about this update, so I wanted you all to be among the first to know that our Delicious tunes are all built up and vetted out for the new software.

The latest version is denoted as V25.00. Though RaceROM 10 is really a complete and utter overhaul of the way we do tuning on these cars, some of the more important changes are as follows:

- Improved tip in throttle response throughout entire rev range
- Completely overhauled closed loop correction outside of factory closed loop scenarios
- Completely overhauled Flex Fuel implementation. Ethanol content, ethanol ignition advance, and more are now all dedicated parameters in EcuTek. The way Flex Fuel is programmed is also far superior in RaceROM 10, and allows much tighter integration into the tune. What this means for the end user is a smoother transition between fuel types, and a smoother ramp in power delivery as ethanol content increases or decreases.
- Dedicated custom map to warn you when your AVCS system has failed to activate in a timely manner, letting you know before you push the car and risk potential damage.
- Vastly improved control over fueling in medium to full load areas.
- Improved transition from low load MAF calculation to high load VE calculation.
- Improved drivability.
- Addressed a particular bug where some vehicles would experience a hesitation in high gear, partial (20-40%) throttle pulls. This was typically experienced when trying to pass on the highway, for example.

If you have any questions about this update, feel free to contact me via email at sales@delicioustuning.com.com. This update takes what is already a great supercharger kit, and improves it more than we previously thought possible.

I’m in the logging process and amazed how much the difference is from the previous Versions to this one. I always stay up to date with the updates but this is the biggest change I’ve felt so far.

I’m at 47000 miles total and about 30000 on the kit and absolutely no issues. Like... at all.... idk what to tell you really lol.

I am however starting to itch for more power and torque... I’m considering stepping up to the next pulley but that also requires some supporting mods? I’d like to be at the 300hp mark in the future tho.

More power would be good. Did you ever get any headers for it? That paired with flex fuel might do the trick

Nope, no headers yet. Still gonna do the Tomei ELs tho and an OP/FP. The biggest bitch has actually been my cosworth nameless exhaust... taking it in for some welding repair soon. Just develops cracks all over the place.

I’d also go flex fuel if I could but we no haz in Nevada.

Gotta talk to Neal @The Racers Line soon about getting the smaller pulley and some supporting mods!
