Thanks, although this is more about making sure the airbag works than the seatbelt chime. Also making sure there is no airbag light on the dash so it passes inspection. I can jump out the side airbag (which should make it fail, but no shop seems to check and/or care), but am pretty sure you need to move the occupancy sensor over to the new seat for functionality, although I haven't looked into it too much yet.

The drive unit acts like a sprag clutch so it doesn't push the belt. That's a huge deal for me.
Oh, more of the fun kind of reading to do!

Either you know what's up, or you don't. I totally get it.

I don't know why details are so sparse. If I was HKS, I'd be bragging about it in all kinds of languages. That's also why I feel a bit of trepidation. Looks good on paper.

We had an incident when somebody blew up some very large lipo batteries because they weren't charging them correctly (I forget exactly what they did, but it was excessively stupid). The entire company had to take online battery training. And then they did it again and the entire company had to take a revised training...
When I bought the one for my car I made sure it was a "smart" battery that does all that stuff internally.

The battery in your car would not be Li-po. Probably Li-on which is not prone to violent energy discharges but still needs all that smart stuff

You realized you are still using a measurement based upon 3 grains of barley placed end to end?
