Not a mystery here. The dude that saw the pictures (but could not screen cap them) said "it's a desert khaki color" in his original post.

Yours is much better anyway.

But I do like my Zulu November Six.
What's in a code? That which we call a Toyobaru By any other name would handle as well.

Lunar Storm was listed in original post. Desert Khaki was in a later post by the OP of that thread. Desert Khaki is a Subaru color that's available on the CrossTrek. Subaru and Scion don't usually use the same names for colors. Maybe Lunar Storm is Scion's fancy special edition name for the color?

These threads with nothing concrete to back them up are fun to speculate about.

So Toyobaru would, were it not Toyobaru call'd retain that dear perfection which it owes without that title.

Found this description on a Toyota/Scion dealer web site. Note, the picture is not the RS 2 and no pricing info available. Scroll down to see the available color listed, at least for now.

I have forgone my standard resistance to speculation because I truly believe that OP works at Toyota and saw something that has not been released yet. If nothing else the sheer speed in which he ran away when pressed for screen caps convinced me.

So that's the color. Close to Pantone 7529C.

Meh.
