Great to see ya'll have made the change from old Hondas/Acuras to the 86 platform. I'm about done racing turbo powered cars. I look at my old Acura Integra, which I still have at ORP, and think how much less complicated engines used to be. I open the hood and it's pure simplicity. Although the 86 platform cars have pretty complex engine bays too. I may have to join you soon, but mine will be a BRZ.

I have been Race Stewarding for the last couple events. i cannot race on weekends I steward which will be 8/9 times this year.
I let some of our Porsche and BMW friends race my car. They all loved it. Maybe some converts. I'll be doing doing a couple test days and a LuckyDog race to keep my ass active in a car. C started this thread for the runoffs https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146169 which will be happening at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this year. Quali sessions are during the week and the race takes place on Friday the 1st at 8:10am cdt Come hang out with us if you can. R |

Had a bit of set back a week ago. Car got away from a friend during a test day at The Ridge. Rained in the morning so the grass was wet and the car met a tire wall.
The car was on and off the frame rack last Monday. The shopping list has been ordered and now waiting on shipping to get the parts back on the car. Really can't even tell the car was bent and tugged. Once the parts are on, it will be in the paint booth and we will be ready to head back to Indy. R |
