I'm not looking to be hired or hiring, but if anyone's in the Tyler/Longview area looking for a job, I work at Suddenlink and it's awesome. After two years, I've just got a raise to $18.50/hr plus commission. It's a good $40k/year, plus good benefits. Definitely not a permanent job, but it's good money for now.

Have you by any chance been parking in the Binkley garage? There's a WRB BRZ that I've seen in there. I'm a BSEE grad from UTA and going to SMU for my PMBA. It sounds like we should get together some time.

Actually I normally park in Moody unless I'm headed to the gym because it's a tad closer to the engineering buildings. My brz is white with black Enkei's, but I've seen that WRB one in Binkley before. Can't believe I haven't seen you around.

Would definitely like to get together man I really like what you've done with your car. If you go through with selling it though I will definitely see you for those Tom's.

Need a web developer (php) and iOS dev that either lives in houston or is relocating to houston. Small-ish web company that specializes in camera stuff.

Pretty competitive pay from what I hear. Probably 0-3 years experience. Can put your resume right on their desk.

Texas Job Hunting/Networking Thread

My name is Valer .

Originally from Slovakia now live in NorCal . August is my month of relocating with my gf from Canada . I have place in Burleson so I guess that's where I will be staying. As schooling I did art school back in Europe with major of stone sculpture . I do art on side but I have primary job as a consumer and business banker for past 4+ years . I am looking for something in finance, marketing, etc. Actually anything in right salary range. I would say I am jack of all trades as I did on side design and fabrication of aerodynamics for some race cars and many other designs of parts etc. I am very hands on and get it done in finance, sales, labor, customer service etc. Great people person and very enthusiastic with entrepreneurial thinking.

If you guys know of anything let me know.

Thanks and great thread

Oh and if anyone have any tips on companies that sponsor that would be amazing. Gf from canada finished sociology , criminology/ criminal justice

Depending on how far you want to commute, I just got hired by James Construction Group (based in Belton/Temple) as a field engineer in May. One of the guys I work with commutes from Austin Daily. Not sure what type of project engineer experience you have but they focus mainly on heavy road and bridge construction. I am currently working on one of the several jobs they have on
I-35.
