Nice vid but unfair - I gotta get me one of those mounts too. Woulda love to see the action just before the silver IS, again. And after the IS. What I can't see in the vid is how friendly both of these cars will point, aim, and shoot the obstacles we encountered.

Thx for the great pics. I'll post when I get a chance. Not much difference from urs except the hill climb pics.

Yes, and eastbay version of 9 would be nice.

PMok, BFF, others,
What's your drive schedule look like this week? Wed, Fri, Sat evenings look open for me?

I'd like to venture out to 84 to Mines on Friday ~6p. Weekly kids' ride at the bmx park in Pleasanton but could leave early to check 84.

Just did this drive for the first time on Sunday (from the other direction). Mines is a cool road. I'll be in that area around 6, but hitting Patterson Pass on my way home instead. Only reason I don't mind the commute. Haha

Evenings don't usually work very well for me (plus I'm a total wuss when it comes to driving the twisties in the dark, had a terrible experience with a deer once...). Tues & Thurs nights might be more workable for me, for what its worth. Definitely could if its a super early Sat or Sun (6am is when I usually go, back right on time for some brunch with the wife).

On a side note, anybody up for redwood+skyline loop for lunch? I'm thinking tmrw or Thurs?

Finch, I hear ya, 84 / Mines is cool. Been years since I've been on that route. Wow you have a commute.

I'm up for an early drive Sat AM. But I have to be home by 10a, coaching. Someone else is up for early drive...where's he at hehe.

LOL we also have our own, the "other" Skyline.
I will update our webmaster, "Bunta Fujiwara" of the missing routes and have them added in short time! Thank you!

Don't forget, I split time between Walnut Creek and Santa Cruz Mountains!

My game is at 12 but I have to be there at 11ish. I don't mind the early rise to drive. I mind the commute to work though haha

I'm in. Meet between 6 and 630 at Hacienda Starbucks or someplace off of Bernal, Sunol station, where? This will be 84/Mines. Depending on time, I may double back on Mines or push thru to 5.

Road trip...Palomares - 84 - Mines - 5. Lunch at Bass Pro, Manteca. Someday.

I'm in for Sat. Like MyRx, I need to be back by around 10 too, so 6 is fine with me. I say Mines rd. down to the "Junction" for a break, then I might head back up Mines on the return trip.

Bass Pro! I love that place! For some reason, every time I'm in Stockton, the bro, wife and father-in-law always head over just to look around (I want a cross-bow soooo bad). Its like red-neck Disneyland!

Nice. Junction is a good stop. Thinking the same, back on Mines may be quicker than thru 5. So, meet on 580 seems more reasonable.

cross-bow and red-neck Disneyland. 2nd floor is the best. If that's Disneyland, Cabelas is DisneyWorld haha. Only been to the Reno location unfortunately.

I agree, 84 is kind of blah, I'd rather just get to Mines and start DRIVING! let's meet say at the N. Livermore Ave exit off 580, there is a Jack-in-the-Box and gas station on the right as you come off the freeway. Or if you want coffee, we can meet at Starbucks.
