Yes, there is. The main bearings, oil holes in the crankshaft, oil drain back holes in the heads, valve and ports, inside of the oil pan and an estimate of the height of the oil pickup tube from the bottom. Also, anything that you feel could cause issues as the proverbial wick gets turned up.
