Hi folks, West Loop here. I took a new job and no longer could take public transit to work like I had been for the past 4 years, so I used that as an excuse to finally get my first car! I found that most manual BRZ's in the Chicagoland area were used ~2013's in the 60K+ miles range and nearly pulled the trigger on one from a used dealership but got cold feet when they presented the final term sheet with some outrageous dealer fees
...so I broadened my search for something newer. Found a 2017 CPO one in Pennsylvania, negotiated over the phone (so much easier), flew out the next morning and drove it 11ish hours all back in one day.
