That can be true, but then they should ban race gas as well. You can run 100octane fuel in ST*. A number of ST legal cars can run e85 w/o mods, but they also can get near similar results on $10/gal race fuel.

Every car can run 100 octane, not every car can run E85.

E85 performance > 100 octane

E85 performance > 100 octane

A. Street and Street Touring® category vehicles will use fuel which is
“Federally approved for use on public highways.” This includes the
pump fuel known as E85, but does not allow racing-type fuels which
are available at service station pumps. Fuels comprised of more than
15% ethanol may only be used when specified by the manufacturer
(e.g., in the owner’s manual for flex-fuel vehicles).
Pretty sure the reading of that disallows 100 octane even if you can get it at the pump.

I've been killing myself for the last 2 years, lol.

that's funny because I know a lot of people at nationals go to the Harley dealer up the road to get pump gas. they have 95 100 and 110 I think.

I've heard some people get some 100 to mix it since I've heard 93 is hard to get around lincoln (not sure how true this is).

The reading basically is saying federally approved fuel less than 15% ethanol is allowed.

100 octane is federally approved. Doesn't declare if 100 octane is racing fuel or not.

The closest 93 is over 100 miles away (aside from the Harley dealer, which has 95), at least coming from the east.

The Sunoco GT260 is pretty good, but you've got to get the mix fairly accurate every time after the tune to take advantage of it.
