Yes. There are 5 others that I did find where they go to. Plus my cable in and a bunch of other coax I haven't started looking at yet.

2. 2+basement. 3. Yes 4. Large wall box yes 5. All other Cat5 cables I found go between a wall-mounted RJ45 jack and the central panel (answer 4). There are no more RJ45 jacks in the house as far as I can tell. Only place I haven't checked is the attic... Hmmmm...... 6. All of these look professionally installed, but are noticeably separate (length, material, etc) from the rest that actually go to a wall jack. 7. Cheap two-piece wire tracer. Was like $25 on Amazon. Plug one end of an RJ45 in on one piece, and run to all the wall jacks and plug in the other piece until you find the right one. |

Sound-wise it's hard to really capture anything. Basically whenever the revs do that bounce thing of down, up, down, up you can just hear the exhaust like it's a teeny rev (which I guess it basically is). I found this thread, which seems like it's about a similar issue, but so many pages of comments. I'll dig through. https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12479 Unless I'm just going crazy about this now. In which case someone please shoot me.

I didn't hear anything odd either. It just looks like a bit of idle dip.
@spike021 is the car warmed up when it does this?

Surge is not ok but ecu is prolly still learning. It's not terrible. Can you log? I'd love to see the fuel trims. Keep driving & watch it.

This same thing happened before this week's misfire/CEL though, and by then the ecu would've been done relearning (several thousand miles since October).

That said, your video does show it surging a little more than I would expect if that were the case. |

The misfire threshold is pretty high at idle. Have you noticed any other weird behavior in other RPM ranges? http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...5&postcount=16

If it was pro install there may be wires to other potential spots in the house. Do you have phone jacks? Often put in the box with them.
Do some of the cables go up and others down? Can you find any in the basement? If everything is hidden then was probably put in during construction, if bundles go up and or down probably done later. A telephone wire tracer is a good tool, attach to one wire and use a receiver to follow the wire. |
