I agree. The only colors that really look good to me are white, orange, and silver for this car.

Every time I think the fender arches aren't so bad I see the rear bumper and nope out. I know there are a few companies that paint them to be less of an eyesore, but there isn't much that can be done about the huge flat blank panel in the middle that sticks out like a weird growth.

If only the production version had been more like the concept...

There is a glimmer of hope for a speedy refresh in the Levorg STI concept. At least the front and fenders, anyway.

Thats actually the concept for the previous gen WRX....

The new one is based off the Viziv performance concept and it it looks like this:

Its actually not that far off the concept but the productionized proportions make some of the details not work so well...like the wheel arch cladding + smaller wheels.

In fact the Viziv Performance STI looks pretty cool, cladding and all.

And all you'd really need to do is put a big wing, lower the car and add bigger wheels to the WRX and it'll look better.

The fenders look suspiciously like they are intended for removal like there is a STI or Ralliart bolt-less/rivet-less over-fenders going to replace those fenders. I feel like all they need are larger fenders that clip into all those bolts, and they could have double sided tape on the outer rim. Could turn from the biggest eye sore to genius design.

I don't see why people make such a big deal about the fender arches. Just like our cars with the fender garnish or any other little thing, it can easily be changed. And you know people will do it. It's the rear bumper that's harder to fix. Though I've grown to like it.

These cars look horrible. Very awkward in person. If they wanna make it look ready for off road use, fully own it and do it.
