For the owners with AT, a couple of questions if you don't mind.

1. I've read the torque converter locks up upon shifts (which is great!). Does this make for a punch, punch, punch shift style where it's immediate and almost even violent or is it more like nudge, nudge, nudge where you feel the converting slipping a bit like any old AT.

2. Can you elaborate more if the "sport" mode or having Traction Control Off affects the behavior in question #1?

To me it's...instantaneous...but no particular violence it just goes, without any slipping from what I can tell. I'm just over 1200...and haven't really done any 0-60 "to the floor" sessions though.

Since I read about the poor bas**** that smacked the t-pole I've left the trac control on But the sport mode def improves throttle response...in fact I've checked that a couple times by holding the throttle as steady as I can and then turn it on...instantly the revs increase and most of the time it downshifts and holds in that gear that mode is really fun and makes the car feel that much sportier...
