Hey everyone!

Finally decided to sign up here, also on BRZ forums.

Ordered my SWP Limited at start of May, now waiting, and waiting....

This will be my 7th Subaru. 01 2.5RS/02 WRX/04 STi/05 LGT Sedan/05 LGT Wagon/10 STi.

I'm a little concerned about stepping down, but seems like everyone who has taken delivery enjoys the BRZ, I'm sure I will too.

On a side note, for people who traded in vehicle, namely other Subaru's any push back on Stage 2 or modifications?

Welcome brz007! This will be my first Subaru. Ordered 21 March...may not get it until the next allocation period...waiting...and waiting...and waiting. Probably will be a 9 month wait...hoping for a pre-mature delivery though! You'll probably get yours before I get mine!!!

From what I've read from the STi guys going to BRZ's is that it's refreshingly different. What you give up in outright speed you make up for in a better driving position, excellent ergonomics, and superior balance. I've driven my friend's '01 2.5RS at a few events back to back with a Toyota MR2 and a Mazda Miata (small, light, underpowered, and balanced like the BRZ) and they're both very fun in their own ways. The Imprezas are easier to drive but you know you're in a sedan. The RWD cars are more challenging but also more rewarding when you do things right. I think you'll be very happy with your decision!
