Disabling Steering Wheel Media Buttons?

Hey!

I picked up my new BRZ last Monday and after some normal driving and tight turns, I noticed my left palm sits nearly on top of the call buttons on the left hand side of the steering wheel and I press them occasionally.

I want to disable them, but I can't find a new '22 service manual to show the fuses for that, nor could I remove the airbag to disconnect the connectors of those buttons. The new gen doesn't have the steering column holes to remove the airbag, so that's one of my issues.

Anyone have the new service manual or a fuse to disconnect?

Thanks!

There's plastic covers that you can pop off that cover holes to remove the airbag. 3 in total.

Once the tabs are off, identical to last gen to pop off the airbag.
