Front BumperPlugs for tag holes

I reached out to BumperPlugs and this is what they said about ordering the Sapphire Blue Pearl color.

Custom orders are $179 and you will receive three sets of plugs (6 total) in the exact matching factory finish. Our paint process takes approximately 14 working days to complete (19 stages plus 3 stage clear) once we begin production.
The other option is if you know at least two other customers with the same color we can offer the custom order at a lower price for each person.
This deal would be $75 for two pairs (four plugs) including shipping.

This would get the cost down to around $37.5 a set. Could I get a headcount of who would be interested in getting a set?
I will then see what they can do for us. I'll see what response I get to the end of the month (1/31/2022), so get your name in the hat before then. Thanks!

Do they have the size needed posted in general? I'd like to get a set in WRB; but I'll also share your post to my sapphire friends.

I ask because of what they have posted on the site: "2022 BRZ models have threaded inserts in factory holes. Our plugs are not compatible with these holes."

They already have WRB for the normal $29.95. Yes, They claim they don't fit the threaded holes, but other people have tried them and it is a tight fit but they work. The rep at BumperPlug asked for a pic of the dimension, so they might even come out with better specs to fit if we have a big enough response.

Is that the round factory hole, or small screw hole? I just dont want to order and get screwed due to size differences and the statement on their front page.

Thanks again - appreciate the info.

I agree, but they do claim a perfect match on the paint color.

lol, idk, but it might have to do with the pearl color needing extra layering.

Billetworkz claim that the screw inserts can be pushed out leaving factory holes. So wouldn't the regular factory Hole plugs work at that point?

Quote:
2022+ BRZ: 8.25" apart. NOTE: There are two different fitment options, one for bumpers WITH OEM threaded inserts and one WITHOUT OEM threaded inserts. The 2022 BRZ comes WITH threaded inserts, but you can push the threaded inserts out. If using WITH the OEM threaded inserts, M6 bolts will be supplied. If using WITHOUT the OEM threaded inserts, expanding threaded plugs (well nuts) and bolts will be supplied.

Anyone know how close a match Honda Aegean Blue is to the BRZ blues? I've got a set available for $23 (and yes, they are definitely overpriced for what you get).
