Ah... I well remember Fizzies. Growing up soda pop was a rare treat in my house. There was always a pitcher of fruit flavoured Freshie, (similar to Kool-Aid but cheaper). However, my mother liked Fizzies so she would often get a package and hide it away. I didn't like the chemical taste in the Root Beer or Cola flavours but that didn't stop me from drinking a glass when it was offered.

I'd have guessed it has to do with physics. My ACR had a dual runner intake. Short one had the butterflies and opened/closed. Air takes the quickest path it can find. Pretty cool tech and and clear on the Dyno. Wonder why more cars don't do anything like this.

Ford used dual runner intakes in the late 90's and early 00's with butterflies on the short runners. I think variable cam timing and multi lift cams proved more advantageous.

I remember when I learned that a few months ago. Told my coworkers, and they all thought I was crazy. Lol. And here I am breathing through only my right nostril atm.

Today I learned that PC is getting on my nerves.. one of my favourite songs (Olivier's Army) has been censored. Apparently Elvis Costello has now changed out a word!!! Rewriting history... Very soon we'll have a rather soapy, mushy, foggy, blancmangey history that won't make any sense!!
