How many years of torture did you finance for?
I bought my FRS on June 8th, 2012 and did a 6 year loan paid and did the whole finance thing by myself. Before the FRS I traded in a 2005 Chevy Colorado crew cab that I bought new and did a 5 year loan on which my parents helped half ways. For sure it feels good but want to buy another car in June 2019 maybe a Ch-R or WRX.

This is not anything related to something interesting about your car and I really don't care about your personal finances. Good for you ... just to be kind

Just hit this the other day took 4 years and 11 months. Original summer tires, brakes, and clutch. Nothing in comparison to Johan.

Oh well, don't let a couple of posts take away from you enjoying your accomplishment of paying off your car. I appreciate you demonstrating your fiscal responsibility. At least this way, if your needs/desires in transportation change and you trade, you won't be upside down in your car ….

Have a great weekend!

Yep, you got "flushed' fer sure.

To my mind, those crush washers are a primitive idea and a common source of angst. Not only that, they want a dollar for something that is nothing other than a bit of metal. Nowadays I use a "Smart-O" drain plug and recycle the old crushed crush washer. Google them. Be triple sure you get the correct one as when I got mine there were two different ones depending on the listing.
