Extention of Toyota warrenty

Hi All

Just an information share...

For those of you who have a 2012 model...you will be reaching the end of your warrenty life next year/soon.(Which is 3 years 100 000km)

To extent your warrenty now(I think you have 6 months before your warrenty expires to do this), you have the following options:

Genuine Toyota Warranty:

1) +1 year / +50 000km = R 3395

2) +2 year / +80 000km = R 3985(Cumulative)

3) + 3year / + 120 000km warranty R 5160.00 (Cumulative)

By choosing option 3 , you will take your current warrenty to 6years (2018) and 220,000km

I have extended mine to a 6 year 220,000km warrenty for R5k...well worth it, compared to other vehicle warrenties!

You can go to your nearest Toyota Dealership, call TSA or check their website for details on how to do this.

Will this be an actual toyota warranty or the useless automark one with ridiculous limits of liability and where they make excuses for everything?

Thanks for this

One question. So this is to extend the Warranty. What about service plan?

i just read the brochure now, seems legit and seems like a good deal, and dont see any signs of T's and C's.

but that does mean that you have to ensure that you have the car serviced by them,

and no mods

Oh, i think i read that there is a limit to certain claims. Like the motorrite ones where for example they will only cover R10k for an engine.

Was in a press release a few months ago

More information for [MENTION=2030]86 South Africa[MENTION=2030]

extended-warranty-leaflet.pdf

Also 99% of parts on our cars have a Subaru badge on it,

R5K for peace of mind?

I have Mods (Exhaust+Tune) ...my toyota dealer and I have an open relationship, if anything goes wrong due to my negligence ...I would acknowledge it and fix it myself, otherwise my extended warranty is still valid. (Relationship with dealer is important)

What's important to me is:

1 x Clutch,
1 x Suspension,
Engine/Gearbox repairs if needed,
1 x free skimming of brake discs

You have up and till a day prior to expiry of warranty to extend.

Also to note warranty claims are normally investigated by area Managers to get approval, so be careful with disclosing your mods.
