anyone know of a way to have the daytime running lights light up when you turn on the parking lights and the hand brake is up?

Can you word that sentence better. The DRLs do run with parking lights (parking lights being the amber turn signals on low, sidemarkers & the rear side led on taillight. HOWEVER, you must have the e-brake down (and in a gear for automatic). There is no way of changing this feature of e-brake down/gear that I know of.

Or are you looking to not have the DRL lights work as DRL and only when you turn on your parking lights?

The way the harness from @DeOppressorLiber is wired up for our cars (non-monogram) does this. So it may be possible

It will end up being the same with the monogram. Unplug the DRL module and move the correct wire in the harness to the high led side. You cant have DRL working and control the leds at the same time because it will fry them.

My front-end is way too busy at night with headlights, fog lights, and the amber turn signals.

I'm replacing the 7443 turn signal bulbs for 7440 bulbs so they will only function as turn signals.

The downside is that when I only turn on my parking lights, nothing will light up in front.

That is why I want to have my drl led to light up as parking lights with the hand brake up.

I see your dilemma, worse case scenario just turn on your headlights or four-ways while you are parked waiting with hand-brake up. That would avoid any tickets

Fogs with led bulbs, white led parking lights (switchbacks), hid, and led strip on headlight!

@Calavera of course our cars light the world. We are producing about 4000 lumens from the front, lol! @subiestyle You can disable your DRL module and control your led strip using your parking lights switch. This is how I make the harnesses and how others have added extra wire to achieve this. You just loose the Automatic DRL function.

Do the 10 Series & Monogram still come with a DRL module?

Im not sure if it is the same but yes every car that has DRL has a photosensor that turns the lights on and off.

I think our cars have the drl led running all the time unless parking lights, regular headlights, highbeams are on, or if the handbrake is up.

This may be a noob question, but I have an frs monogram and I want to change the color of the bulbs for the headlight, I can use any HID bulb right? And would it matter if its 35 watt or 55 watts?
