Regarding rails, is the 40mm drop preventable? Meaning, are there rails that would sort of keep the OEM height. I drive with the OEM height all the way down, which isn't terrible. Trying to picture how much more evident a 40mm drop would do.

The T130 sliders/rails from the same company are listed as a 10-20 mm drop. There are also other brands with more mild or 0 drop. The official Recaro sliders/rails apparently are quality but may even be higher than stock and not exactly centered so they don't seem to be well recommended.

I considered the T130 for the passenger seat, as well as the SR7-F which has flat thigh bolsters. But the non-symmetry would kill me.

Haven't tried Braum seats.
