what motor mounts are you running? what about you @Dustin?

I feel like this is a stupid question but I did it wrong (and I am perfect btw). Was the belt installed correctly? It's pretty easy to put the belt on and unknowingly install it one tooth over on any of the ribbed pulleys. The car will run fine and you won't be able to tell by looking at how the belt is running. The tensioner will dance slightly more than if it is installed correctly.

I have 20,000 on the original belt. I took it off when I dropped to the 70mm pulley. I did the math and a 1/2 decrease in circumference is needed to keep the tensioner in the same place so that is what I got.

I don't mean to state the obvious. I made the mistake and have been working on cars my entire life. It's pretty easy to miss especially when it's the last thing you have to do before you can go have some fun!!

I'll check that bolt like you suggested.

OEM. I'll probably upgrade to STi mounts later on down the road.

Yeah it would be easy to over look something like that but I'm about 99% positive the answer is no. I'm pretty meticulous when it comes to things like that. All the same I know with 100% certainty that this one is on like it is supposed to be.

I might go try to use LC a couple of times just to see what happens. I have a 1 year warranty on the belt I have now so if I trash this one, at least I can get it replaced for free.

How old is your 70mm pulley? I remember when they first hit the market one vendor (I forget which) let out a batch that weren't true. They were about 2mm out and the belt was chewing up the plastic covers and eventually shredding. I'd check the run out on your pulley.

Oil cooler comes in today, going to make some kind of heat shield for the header, then it's dyno time.
What about 255's will they fit in the rear on 9.5 wheels??? Or do you need a wide body kit?

Depends on the offset. I have 265/35s on 18x9.5+44 wheels with no rubbing. With very minor mods I could get 275s back there.

That's awesome! 265's would be great if the 335 blower hits the mythical 400 mark... Heck even if it only hits 350...

A guy on the FRS enthusiasts Facebook page just posted dyno numbers on his built engine with the 335 blower at slighty over 500hp to the wheels. Here's a screenshot I just took Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1406733939.905970.jpg

I read that screenshot as saying the 335 is hitting 280whp and 290wtq. The turbo kit is at 500+whp.

EDIT: plus i think thats the same guy with motor issues and he's only running the 80mm pulley or something. Once he's sorted the tuning and thrown a smaller pulley on it it'll be a beast.

That's my bad then. If the 335 is at only that much. I'll stick with my smaller blower.
