totally get it, but was just looking for some real world experience. What mods do you have and what kind of mileage are you getting. I just have the Jackson Racing SC and a custom tune. Not sure why its so terrible. I own a couple evos that are very highly modified and tuned and they get better mileage.

Yeah Custom tune. Was just wondering what the standard tune should be giving.

Perrin 2.5 non-resonated CBE is really the only "performance" mod I have in addition to the JR SC Kit and JR Oil Cooler kit.

I'm running the CARB Legal Kit and Tune from JR... I'm a commuter, so I'm mostly freeway driving averaging about 28-29 mpg on the best CA 91 Octane money can buy... LOL! Our gas sucks... Just saying...

Jackson Racing Supercharger Owners Thread

I do have a coil over suspension and gram lights 57xtreme on Hankook V12's... I know certain tires and rims can play with mpg too... Plus aero dynamics, wind tunnel sh@& I have no idea about...

I guess it all adds or takes away mpg...

Don't listen me... I'm just board...

Unless you only drive WOT or off throttle, it sounds like you may have a questionable tune.

10 MPG is something we see at the track, or running REALLY hard in the canyons. Street driving is always in the 20's, unless you're in stop and go traffic.

This is assuming you have a set of sticky tires; expect higher with the stock tires.

Exactly.

Fuel trims, probably maxed out post up the cruising logs showing short and long term.

I do have lighter weight Enkei RC-t4 in 17 x 8 and I have 225 michelin super sport tires on there. So there is a change in the equipment. The driving I do is about 20 miles a day mixed highway / city. Nothing crazy in terms of acceleration / WOT. I put in gas this morning so I wrote down the amount of gas to the click and zero'ed the ODO. Lets see in a couple days when I fill up how much gas i've used.

Also I am going off the display in the dash, so it might be inaccurate because of all the modifications, but I am losing gas substantially faster. I have to fill my tank every 4 days instead of every 6 or 7.

Drive 50 MPH steady cruising speed and log your short term fuel trims or post up what you are seeing.

The majority of us here are running at least tires in the PSS range, if not stickier. Time to do some diagnostics, and perhaps a retune.

Catch cans are part of the PCV system. Positive Crankcase Ventilation cannot occur with a vented system as it relies on the vacuum supplied by the engine.

Keep in mind this actually helps your rings seal, and also reduces pumping losses.
