Was there a resolution that you ever found to this? I have experienced a similar situation, without going into too much great detail. I am researching my options before my next move.

Thank you

Ended up being a broken wheel bearing. If it gets just the slightest bit too far away from the sensor the car will go into limp mode.

Thank you so much for your in-depth analyses on this on this issue. I've recently (since yesterday) been experiencing the EXACT SAME issue you described. Cleared codes and everything. Car is in limp mode, with the TCS, ABS and CE Lights on.

My limp mode started when I was polishing my wheels. I jacked up the rear of the vehicle and ran the car in 2nd gear to spin the wheels so I can easily polish them. after about 20 seconds or so (cant fully remember) the fans came on and the car threw the 3 orange lights on the dash.

However, I've been getting wheel bearing noises on the highway pretty much constantly recently. And have been lazy to fix it. At least this forum makes me confirm that the noise I've been hearing is a damaged wheel bearing.

I would have never thought that was the issue. I will have to locate the damaged wheel bearing and revert back.

OP did you clear the codes after changing the wheel bearing? And did that fix the limp mode?

Warranty claim, here we come.

Here's a video on another person fixing the same issue via rear right sensor replacement after replacing their broken/rusted wheel bearing.
