You need to get pretty aggressive to kill most modern sealants with just chemicals. And usually it's repeated steps.
I like to wash, then decontaminate with a good iron/fallout remover then clay. You might be able to just use the iron remover, but it won't get all the junk off the paint. I use whatever good car soap I have laying around and add some meguiars APC to boost cleaning power. Carpro iron-X smells horrible but it works great from my experience. Mother's clay 2.0 is a good synthetic clay mitt that's readily available. I used both of these doing my last decontamination wash. Optimum ferrex and optimum clay towel is efficient combo. Ferrex is both a chemical stripper and a clay lubricant. You can do two steps at once which saves you time. I am about to order these two for the next round. Carpro eraser is a good paint prep. A paint prep won't strip sealants, it isn't designed to do that. Think of it as a oil remover/degreaser that leaves no residue; to ensure best adhesion. Eraser probably isn't nesssary for applying regular sealants. I bought a bottle when I did a ceramic coating a couple years ago, and use it now and then during prep because I already have it. What sealant is currently on your vehicle and how strong is it currently?
If you're using a Foam Cannon, try a few ounces of Meguiars APC alongside your soap. Typically if I'm prepping a surface, the vehicle is getting polished. That's the best way to guarantee the surface is good to go. I wouldn't put dawn dish soap on your paint period lol

Eraser isn't going to remove a coating or sealant. Eraser is a polish and oil remover, it's pretty much fancy isopropyl alcohol.
