Are you sure when he said 'November 12' he meant on 12th November, or did he mean 'in November 12 [2012]'? Hope it's the first! I checked last Monday on mine ordered 2 July and will check again next Monday as it was only a week after yours - then again TMCA would have had a swag of orders that week being first 7-10 days after release and test drives had started happening

This one may help, ordered June 23rd and told 12 November for production, mine was 2 July so hopefully soon!

I got pretty much the same line from TCMA ..... Could be November, might not be !! Apparently all GTS Manual orders from June are showing as November 2012 production in there system at the moment, but there is no way they will all get built in November .... and that is what the guy from TCMA suggested as well !!

I have set myself a limit to how long I am going to wait. I started looking at buying a new car in February .... decided to hold off after I heard about the 86 .... but it is getting out of hand now with all this crap !! So I go on holidays in October, if when I come back there is not firm production date I am thinking I will cancel my order !!!

As a side note, Am I the only one that the music from the 86 ad is now starting to sound like fingernails down a black board too ... not cause it is annoying, but advertising the car I can't have cause they won’t build the damn thing is a shit thing to do !!

No!! apart from wanting to know the name of the song that they use in the advert, I am amazed they have the ad in 'high rotation' in Brisbane, 2-3 times during the News on Channel 7 each night to sell a product they can't deliver in some cases for 18 months!! I'm thinking maybe take the next 'cancelled order' regardless of GT or GTS so long as it is manual!! I've got a GT manual on order pushed from October to November [page 6 this topic Toyota said on 10 July 2/3 months for delivery of the GT!!!]

I almost started buying stuff for an 86 .... I am pretty glad I didn't. I was so close to buying a set of O.Z. Wheels.

I am new to sports cars ..... coming from motorbikes as my mechanical toys, so I am thinking I might get something as a tuner to play with !
